Fanny Ann Eddy Achievement Awards (FAEAA

Fanny Ann Eddy Achievement Awards (FAEAA) in Sierra Leone was founded on 29th September 2012 by Valentine Solomon Norman, the son of late Fanny Ann Eddy in recognition of Fanny Ann Eddy as the founder of the LGBTI human rights struggle in Sierra Leone and continued advocacy for the promotion and protection of LGBTI human rights countrywide.

The initiative of the award is to create a platform for LGBTI issues to be visible through quiz competitions and debates in learning institutions like schools, colleges and universities in Sierra Leone to spark up a debate on LGBTI issues into mainstream human rights agenda.

 Sex Workers Advocacy Taskforce (SWAT)
Sex Workers Advocacy Task force (SWAT) is an initiative that brings sexual reproductive health (SRH) services including HIV counseling and Testing services closer to Gay, Men who have sex with Men (MSM) and Transgender (GMT) sex workers. The initiatives has outreach officers and peer educators who reach out to peers with HIV prevention and safer sex messages including condom demonstration, distribution of condoms and lubricants to minimize the spread of HIV and other STIs. We also organize capacity building sessions on sexual health, sexual rights, safety and well being of GMT sex workers.

Journalists for Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Rights
Journalists for Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Rights are an initiative of Pride Equality that provides trainings to journalists to produce unbiased report on SOGI issues. The initiative was born out of the Pride Equality United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) Sierra Leone joint training on monitoring and documenting human rights violation based on SOGI held on March 2012.
