Laura Esquivel Lallana
Laura Esquivel Lallana is part of the Spanish Committee of UNHCR from 2012 in the program of recruitment of partners and private donors. She has Degree in Humanities with an experience as a social educator with vulnerable groups at risk of social exclusion. She currently coordinates and leads the program for the recruitment of partners and donors of the Spanish Committee of UNHCR in Catalonia.
Her experience includes the creation of growth strategies and expansion of the program in Catalonia, giving training in raising awareness aimed at fundraising, team management, mediation and work focused on the objectives of the organization.
As a UNHCR coordinator, she is an expert in liaising and identifying private and public institutions, organizing activities focusing on the collection of private funds. Laura has participated and also provided trainings in defending the rights of asylum seekers and refugees migration law. Also with experience and training in education, she completed her Master's degree in teaching specializing in history and geography.
She has been participating for more than 7 years in the school reinforcement program of Learning Disorders Unit of the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona.
